Social media tracking for Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium – ASCO
Objective
The study aims at understanding level of conversation and engagement across the different social media platforms. Additionally, it also provides quantitative and qualitative insights across various themes of discussion.
Approach
Involving machine and human intelligence, data was collected through data crawler. Manual crawling (www & FB) was also use to ensure the inclusion of all possible posts. SMEs gather data through these content in order to derive to actionable business insights.
A total of 2,309 English posts were analysed. Posts were monitored for a period of 3 days, all global posts were analysed.
Outcome and Impact
The clinical trials and the top molecules that were highly discussed among HCPs in the symposium were identified. The social media platform that dominated in the discussions was identified. The stakeholder type driving the conversations was identified.
