(“SI-Insights”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website siinsights.com and provides pharmaceutical and healthcare market research and competitive intelligence services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the DPDP Rules, 2025.

  • Information you submit through our contact and enquiry forms (name, email, phone, company, message)
  • Information collected in the course of research engagements (e.g. from healthcare professionals or survey respondents), always on a non-attributable and anonymised basis unless separately agreed

2. Consent

Where we rely on your consent to process personal data (for example, when you submit a contact form), we will ask for it clearly and separately at the point of collection, in plain language, before we collect the data — not bundled into this policy alone. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting our Grievance Officer below; withdrawal will not affect processing already carried out lawfully before withdrawal.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data only for the purpose it was collected for: responding to enquiries, delivering research services, and legitimate business communication. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose it was collected for: contact form enquiries are retained for 24 months from last contact; research engagement data is retained for the duration of the client contract plus 3 years, or as required by applicable law. After this period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

We do not share personal data with third parties except: (a) with your consent; (b) with service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations; or (c) where required by law.

7. Your Rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • Request correction, completion, or updating of your personal data
  • Request erasure of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
  • Have your grievance addressed through our Grievance Officer
  • Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. In the event of a personal data breach likely to affect you, we will notify affected individuals and the Data Protection Board of India as required under the DPDP Rules, 2025.
